These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Blind Trip website and services. Please read them carefully before booking.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using theblindtrip.com, filling out our booking survey, or making any payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Information Technology Act 2000.

2. Our Service

The Blind Trip is a surprise travel planning service. We design personalised trip itineraries based on your preferences submitted via our Vibe Survey. The nature of our service is that destination and certain trip details are withheld from you until just before departure, based on the mystery level you choose.

We act as a travel coordinator, not a licensed tour operator under the Ministry of Tourism (India). We curate and book accommodation and transport on your behalf; however, we are not the direct provider of accommodation or transport services.

3. Booking & Payment

₹999 Booking Fee — To initiate a booking, you pay a ₹999 reservation fee via Razorpay. This fee allows our team to begin researching your trip and send you a personalised quote within 48 hours.

Custom Quote — After receiving your survey and booking fee, we will send you a detailed, itemised quote via email. The quote covers accommodation and transport. You are under no obligation to proceed.

Full Trip Payment — If you approve the quote, you will pay the remaining trip balance. Payment terms will be communicated in the quote email.

Prices — All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Summary: During our launch phase, the ₹999 booking fee is fully refundable if you cancel before confirming the full trip payment. Once full payment is made, cancellation charges apply as per the policy.

5. Your Responsibilities

By booking with us, you confirm that:

• All information provided in the Vibe Survey is accurate and complete

• All travellers in your group are aware of and agree to these terms

• You hold a valid government-issued photo ID for all domestic travel

• You are responsible for obtaining any destination-specific permits if required (we will notify you in advance)

• You are responsible for purchasing your own travel insurance (we strongly recommend it)

• You are responsible for your own food, personal expenses, and gratuities

6. Our Responsibilities

We will:

• Review your survey and respond with a custom trip quote within 48 hours

• Book accommodation and transport as described in the approved quote

• Dispatch your Reveal Box to your address 48–72 hours before departure

• Provide 24/7 WhatsApp support during your trip

• Send you a weather forecast and packing guide 1–2 weeks before departure

We will not:

• Guarantee specific accommodation brands or room types (we book based on availability and your preferences)

• Be liable for disruptions caused by third-party providers (hotels, transport operators, etc.)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Blind Trip shall not be liable for:

• Any injury, illness, death, loss of property, or personal damage during your trip

• Trip disruptions caused by natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure events

• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers (hotels, transport companies)

• Loss or damage to the Reveal Box during postal delivery (we will resend digitally if the box is not delivered in time)

Our total liability to you under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us for your trip.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, civil unrest, or transport failures.

In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a partial refund where possible.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on theblindtrip.com — including text, design, logos, and brand elements — is the property of The Blind Trip. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
