Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our Promise: The ₹999 booking fee is fully refundable if you decide not to proceed after seeing your custom quote. Once you make the full trip payment, we book everything immediately — that's when our cancellation policy kicks in.

1. The ₹999 Booking Fee

The ₹999 booking fee is fully refundable if you choose not to proceed after receiving your custom trip quote. No questions asked.

The ₹999 booking fee becomes non-refundable once you approve your quote and make the full trip payment.

To request a refund of the ₹999 fee before proceeding, email refunds@theblindtrip.com with your booking reference. We will process your refund within 5–7 business days.

2. Full Trip Payment — Cancellation by You

Once you make the full trip payment, we immediately confirm all bookings — accommodation, transport, and activities. Because of this, the following cancellation charges apply:

Within 24 hours of full payment — Full refund (cooling-off period)

30+ days before departure — 50% refund of total trip cost

15–29 days before departure — 25% refund of total trip cost

Under 15 days before departure — No refund

The ₹999 booking fee is non-refundable in all cases once full payment has been made.

3. Cancellation by The Blind Trip

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your trip (e.g., due to force majeure, supplier failure, or other circumstances beyond our control), we will:

• Notify you as soon as possible

• Offer a full refund of all amounts paid, or

• Offer to reschedule your trip to alternative dates at no additional cost

We are not liable for any consequential losses (e.g., flights you booked independently, leave taken from work) arising from our cancellation.

4. Changes & Rescheduling

Changes requested by you:

You may request changes to your trip dates or details subject to availability. Changes requested more than 14 days before departure will be accommodated where possible. A rescheduling fee may apply depending on the nature of the change.

Changes to trip details (e.g., switching from a 3-day to a 5-day trip) may result in a revised quote.

Changes made by The Blind Trip:

We reserve the right to make minor changes to your itinerary (e.g., alternative accommodation of equal or higher standard) if circumstances require. We will notify you of any significant changes.

5. The Reveal Box

The Reveal Box is dispatched 48–72 hours before your departure. If the box does not arrive in time due to a courier issue, we will:

• Send you all contents digitally (Day Envelopes, Insider Map, packing list) before your departure

• Attempt to reroute the physical box to your destination if feasible

We do not offer refunds for delayed or damaged Reveal Boxes caused by third-party courier services.

6. Refund Processing

All approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Razorpay processing times may add an additional 2–3 business days depending on your bank.

To initiate a refund, email refunds@theblindtrip.com with:

• Your full name

• Booking reference number

• Reason for cancellation

We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation. Travel insurance is not included in our packages and must be arranged independently. Platforms like PolicyBazaar or ICICI Lombard offer affordable options.
