When you use The Blind Trip, we collect the following information:

Contact & identity information — Your name, email address, phone number, and city of residence when you fill out our waitlist, booking survey, or contact form.

Trip preferences — Your travel dates, group size, budget range, travel style, hobbies, past destinations visited, and mystery level preference as filled in our Vibe Survey.

Payment information — Transaction ID and payment status from Razorpay. We do not store your card details — these are handled securely by Razorpay.

Usage data — Pages visited, time on site, referral source (via Google Analytics 4). This is anonymised and aggregated.

We use your information to:

• Research, plan, and prepare your custom trip

• Send you a personalised trip quote within 48 hours of booking

• Dispatch your Reveal Box to your address

• Contact you via WhatsApp or email with trip updates, packing guides, and support

• Send you early access or launch communications if you joined the waitlist

• Improve our service using anonymised analytics

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Your information is stored in Google Sheets (Google LLC, USA) secured with restricted access permissions. Only authorised members of the The Blind Trip team can view your data.

Payment records are maintained via Razorpay's secure infrastructure. We store only the transaction reference ID.

Email confirmations are sent using Resend (Resend Inc., USA). We do not store email content beyond what is required for operational records.

We share your data only with the following service providers who help us operate:

• Google LLC — Data storage (Google Sheets)

• Razorpay Software Private Limited — Payment processing

• Resend Inc. — Transactional email

• Vercel Inc. — Website hosting

These parties process your data only as instructed by us and are bound by their own privacy policies.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party.

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Correction — Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information

• Deletion — Ask us to delete your personal data (subject to legal obligations)
